CNBC Removes Online Poll Because Ron Paul Won

submit to reddit

After the October 11, 2011 Republican Presidential debate, Ron Paul took a 75% lead in the post-debate poll. Did he win? No, Allen Wastler, Managing Editor, CNBC.com, admitted that Ron Poll supporters “flooded” the server. He determined that the actions of a “few” strong Paul supporters distorted the poll; the poll was removed.

CNBC posted an internet poll after Wednesday’s debate, too. But it has been removed too. Again, CNBC alleges that Paul supporters have stuffed the poll with votes for their candidate. This time they did not name the candidate, instead, they decreed that the margin did not reflect the consistency of other polls.

“We had a poll up from our Republican Presidential Debate asking readers who they thought won,” Wastler wrote on the www.cnbc.com website. “ One candidate was leading by such a margin that it became obvious the polling wasn’t so much a reading of our audience, but of the Internet prowess of this particular candidate’s political organization. We have therefore taken the poll down.

“Yes, we’ve gone through this exercise before,” he concluded.

In the October statement, Wastler stated, “Paul is a fine gentleman with some substantial backing and, by the way, was a dynamic presence throughout the debate , but I haven’t seen him pull those kind of numbers in any “legit” poll. Our poll was either hacked or the target of a campaign. So we took the poll down.

“The next day, our email basket was flooded with Ron Paul support messages. And the computer logs showed the poll had been hit with traffic from Ron Paul chat sites. I learned other Internet polls that night had been hit in similar fashion. Congratulations. You folks are obviously well-organized and feel strongly about your candidate and I can’t help but admire that.

“But you also ruined the purpose of the poll. It was no longer an honest “show of hands” — it suddenly was a platform for beating the Ron Paul drum.”

I am a strong Ron Paul supporter, but do agree with NBC that the polls are meaningless, because we’re more enthusiastic and pro-active.

On the other hand, it shows how uncommitted the supporters of the other candidates are, and that might actually be more significant.

It is thanks to the actions of all of mainstream media that I have disconnected from my mainstream provider, which in this case meant to terminate more than a decade of subscription to Dish Network, who I consider a somewhat innocent casualty. Mainstream media can no longer be trusted.

Our daughters name is Francella. God willing, she will be born healthy on February 4th, 2012. She will be raised to listen to mainstream media only as a point of reference to search for the lies, following whatever path those lies take her. She will be taught not to hate anyone and in fact will be taught to not only see through the lies of hate, but to lovingly expose the lie to a people blinded by hate, fearlessly.

Already obvious, is that the Lebanon missiles headed to Southern Israel are of American origin, and will be used to promote an attitude of war both in Israel and America. These lies will not go unnoticed. The reality of all of these shock jocks on television do, is mask the truth, which is most obvious at Pearl Harbor, 9/11, and even now, on the leading edge of World War 3. You are trying to grasp at every morsel of hatred and fear, hoping to move a people to continue on more than 10 years of war, whose purpose is not to win, but as in George Orwell’s movie, to enslave a people. True freedom means to reject hate, and love those who you would call our enemies. In rejecting that hatred and fear, we find a connection to each other that is unmatched by media, religion, or government of any flavor. I chose not to hate, and not to participate in your media generated enemy whose only true goal is to enslave America.

I believe, without being ready to vote, that Ron Paul is America’s last hope at a non corrupt government. God help us if they rig the election. Not to get TOO political, but Perry forced vaccination? He’s seen one too many pyramids on the dollar bill.
