U.S. Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., contributed $5,000 to the Legacy Foundation, which is raising money for a legal defense fund to fight SB 1070 lawsuits.
The funds will provide legal defense to county sheriffs Paul Babeu of Pinal County and Larry Dever of Cochise County from lawsuits brought on by the American Civil Liberties Union and U.S. Department of Justice.
McCain said he would like to see others throughout the country follow his lead and support the two sheriffs.

I read somewhere that the AZ governor can actually because of this lawsuit, compel him to prove his citizenship. Nice one for those who want to see him kicked out. I hope she uses this chance to force him to prove his citizenship. If he wants to sue, he will suffer the consequences. His irritating BS comments about being on born on Krypton aren’t fooling anyone. Turns out he can tell jokes to deflect difficult questions, but that only gets you so far. Plus he caused this huge crisis by suing banks to hand out affirmative action loans to people who can’t pay, which caused a bubble which then burst and now he’s blaming everyone else when the fact is that Bush & McCain warned about such a crisis and wanted to introduce regulations which were all blocked by Obama & dems. Remember, Nancy Pelosi & co already started spending in 2006, 2 years before obama was elected and they lied about the problems at Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae. Plenty of proof on YouTube, including a video called “Burning down the house: what really caused the economic crisis” or something like that. And there’s another one along the lines of “Evidence found! Clinton’s affirmative action banking caused the crisis and ACORN & obama ties to all of it”. Check it out…
