Very good article,but as with many it failed to mention the resources used and were diverted for the NAZI FINAL SOULTION, because the Allies attached great inportance to the time and materials that were needed.

I would really like some sourcing information on this article. This is one of the most interesting articles on the War I’ve read in years, but I want sourcing. And I would like to know who wrote this article. This is blockbuster stuff. I really would appreciate it if the author could contact me so I can ask additional questions.

Fascinating.
My only criticism of the article is that it omits what is now known about the initiation of war in the Pacific. That the USA leadership desired a Japanese ‘surprise’ attack, with a large US initial loss, in order to enrage US public opinion and enable US entry into the war in Europe. That Pearl Harbor was effectively a set-up, and the FDR government knew of the attack time at least a week beforehand. Ref ‘The McCollum memo’, etc.

Very intriguing detail in this article, that the Japanese attack on Peal deliberately omitted to destroy the US’s sole Pacific fuel depot. Hmmm….

Lets hope no one ever invents fusion powered warcraft. There’d be no end to wars then.

This is an excellent article. It highlights moreover the reason of the 1940 Italian attack on Greece. Great Britain wanted Greece to be involved in the war; for the British aircrafts wanted Greek airports in order to destroy Ploiesti.
